Preschool at Home: Sample Classes

Here are some recent classes I put together for my 2 and 5 year olds, with links to the free handouts and books and music you can buy or check out from your library.  Now that you have some guidelines and a budget to create fun 30 to 90 minutes classes at home, you can see how fun and easy it is!

For the color pink, I played the Beatles cd (friendship/love theme) in the background as they colored their handout and created shapes with pink play doh, read stories during their snack, danced to "This Little Piggy" and "Ooey Gooey" songs, and ended with a house Treasure Hunt for pink items.

For the color brown class, I follow the same format but I love to actively play "Pop Goes the Weasel," "Found a Peanut," "Cookies from the Cookie Jar," and "Monkeys on the Bed" from the Children's songs cd below, then you can Treasure Hunt outside or take a field trip to the park or Zoo.  Enjoy!

  1. Aron, thank you for your kind comments. Unfortunately I cannot post them as the attached link to your website is not allowed through Blogger. An imperfect (but priceless!) web platform I'm afraid. Thanks for reading! - Megan
